Inspiration for Creative Souls

The truth is… Go Forth – Levi’s spot was the first ad that really touched my (creative) soul. That poem of Charles Bukowski, those scenes, that voice… made a crush on me. I started to cry because I felt Levi’s understood how I felt and even who I was (I am).

It was 2011 and I was happy to share it on my Tuenti wall. Years started passing by… until now, that a good teacher whose name is Nacho Tovar (TAG, where I study) put it on screen. All that emotions went deep inside me. All the goals I had when I decided to study Advertising came again, wild and fast. It hurt. But I felt kind of free at the same time. Too many feelings and ideas unchained because of that Go Forth.

So thank you to Nacho and people of tag for make me up my mind.

Here is a piece of art. Rebel but peaceful and visionary but classic poem called The laughing heart:

The laughing heart

“your life is your life
don’t let it be clubbed into dank submission.
be on the watch.
there are ways out.
there is light somewhere.
it may not be much light but
it beats the darkness.
be on the watch.
the gods will offer you chances.
know them.
take them.
you can’t beat death but
you can beat death in life, sometimes.
and the more often you learn to do it,
the more light there will be.
your life is your life.
know it while you have it.
you are marvelous
the gods wait to delight
in you”.

Cheers to the agency Wieden+Kennedy! 🙂
